Absolutely. Early Bird Testers will never ask you for a subscription fee or startup cost. If a platform asks you to pay to work, it's a scam. We make our profit by charging the app developers, not our community of testers.
How much can I earn as a tester?
Most testing sessions pay between $10 and $50, depending on the complexity and duration of the task. Your earnings are tied directly to the quality and honesty of your feedback.
What kind of device do I need?
To participate, you need a smartphone running iOS 14.0+ or Android 10.0+. While some tasks are available for desktop (Windows/Mac), the majority of our 'Early Bird' opportunities are focused on mobile app testing.
Do I need to download anything?
Yes. Since your role is to test unreleased software, you will typically need to install the beta version of the app being tested. This is usually done via Apple’s TestFlight or Google Play Beta.
How do I get paid and when?
Payments are processed every Tuesday on a weekly cycle. We support PayPal, Gift Cards (Amazon, Apple, Google Play, etc.), and Bank Transfers. All rewards are issued once your session is verified.
Are my payments taxed?
As an independent contributor, you are responsible for any tax obligations based on your local country's laws. Early Bird Testers does not withhold taxes from your rewards. In the US, you may need to report this as miscellaneous income if you cross the legal threshold.
Do I need any special equipment?
All you need is your smartphone or computer. Some exclusive tasks might require a working microphone or camera for video feedback, but most tasks only require screen-recording or standard interface interaction.
